On 25 November Enrique A. Wembagher of Buenos Aires posted a request for this article to the SWL List. There were additional requests for copies as well, causing extra work for the responder. Now, thanks to J W Schermerhorn, who likes this unit better than some of the more recent versions, the article is available for all to download.

Alive_W152.zip Timeout stopper, first noted in 1998. This oldie but goodie seems to have disappeared from the net. In our opinion it is still one of the best and easiest ways to prevent the Windows PC from "sleeping" when there is no keyboard activity. (archived) 10 June 2005
